8 days Trip from Fes. From the bustling city of Fez, you’ll travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains and into the vast expanse of the Sahara. Along the way, you’ll explore ancient Berber villages, visit traditional markets, and learn about the region’s unique culture. You will also have the opportunity to participate in activities such as camel riding, sandboarding and star gazing. After a few days in the desert, you will return to Fez with a new appreciation for Morocco’s diverse landscapes and cultures.
8 days Trip from Fes
Day 1: Fes
Pick up on arrival at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Visit of Fez: the Medina where we will visit the craft workshops of the skins, he of the ceramics and other artisanal specialties. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: Fes – Ifran – Azrou – Midelt
We will go from Fez to Midelt passing through places with beautiful landscapes such as Ifran, the so-called Moroccan Switzerland and after a stop to take some pictures. Next, we will find Azrou, famous and picturesque place for the monkeys perched on the cedars. Following through the Middle Atlas we will arrive at Midelt. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 3 : Midelt – Errachidia – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Merzouga
After breakfast we will leave from Mideltt towards Merzouga, going through both the province and the city of Errachidia and the Ziz Valley, with its impressive palm grove. Then we will arrive at Erfoud, a city very famous for fossils. And without delay we will take the direct track to the magical desert with its sand waves. Upon arrival, we will take the camels and we will enter the dunes to spend an unforgettable night in the traditional camp. Dinner in camp and accommodation in traditional tent.
Day 4: Merzouga – Erg Chebbi – Sahara
After breakfast, we will leave the lodge to visit an Oasis of Merzouga and the town of Khamlia, where we will witness a live demonstration of the African music that the descendants of the black slaves of Mali who live there still preserve. Later, following the track we will visit the mines of M’ifis, desértecas plateaus and Berber nomadic settlements and then return to the lodge. In the afternoon, we will ride the camels for about 2 hours to go to the center of the dunes to watch the sunset and in the traditional camp to dine and sleep in tent under the most starry sky.
Day 5: Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Tamtatucht
We will say goodbye to the desert and return to Tinjdad to TINGHIR, where we will visit the Todra Valley with its palm grove, the largest in Morocco. Next we will visit the Gorges of Todra. We will rest for a tea and enjoy the mountain scenery. Free lunch In the afternoon, we will continue on the asphalt until we reach Tamtatucht, a town located in the heart of the High Atlas. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 6: Tamtatucht – Midelt
After breakfast we will leave the hotel towards Midelt. On this route we will find several Berber villages lost in the High Atlas and in time, as well as the most traditional way of life, that of the nomadic shepherds, all with a landscape of high mountains, colors, rivers … We will several stops on the route. Arrival in Midelt in the afternoon. Lunch and free afternoon. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 7: Midelt – Fes
Breakfast and departure to Fez. We arrived in the afternoon. Free afternoon. Dinner and hotel accommodation
Day 8: Fes – Airport
Breakfast and transfer to the airport at the agreed time and end of our services.
