4 Day Trip from Marrakech to the Desert. This 4-day trip from Marrakech to the desert is the perfect Tour to visit the Merzouga dunes. You will start your journey in Marrakech, where you will explore the city’s vibrant souks and bustling markets. From there, you will travel to the Sahara Desert, where you will spend two days exploring the vast sand dunes and experiencing the unique culture of the Berber people. You will also have the opportunity to take a camel ride and watch the sun set over the desert. On your final day, you will return to Marrakech. This trip is sure to be an unforgettable experience!

4 Day Trip from Marrakech to the Desert

Day 1: Marrakech – Ouarzazate – Dades Gorges

We will pick you up at 8 in the morning and then travel through Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2260m / 7414 F) while enjoying magnificent views of the mountains and the Berber villages along the way. Stop for lunch and tour at the World Heritage site of Ait Ben haddou. (This famous kasbah was used as a setting for more than 20 films.) They pass through Ouarzazate and continue towards the Valley of the Roses and the Dades Valley, Skoura Oasis with Authentic 17th Century Kasbah, the Valley of the Thousand Kasbahs and the Dades Gorge. Night in a hotel.   

Day 2: Dades Gorges – Merzouga Camel trek Night in desert camp

 Brekfast at the hotel. They go out to the Gorges of Todra: a massive failure, rising to 300 m in a narrow valley with thickstudded palmeries and Berber villages. After lunch in the gorge, we will go to the great dunes of Erg Chebbi where you can take a camel ride (about an hour and a half) to get to your nomad Berber tents, dinner, camp fire, drum part and a stay of a night in the desert.

Day 3: Camel trek back to Merzouga – Draâ Valley – Ouarzazate

After seeing the sunrise in the desert we return to the camels in Merzouga after breakfast and take a shower in the hotel and then start our journey towards Ouarzazate through the Berber villages of the Atlas Mountains (Tinjdad, Tenghir Todra, Boumalene- du-dades) we arrived in Ouarzazate in the evening / night.

Day 4 : Ouarzazate – Kasbah Ait ben Haddou – Atlas – Back to Marrakech

Dalir de Ouarzazate in the morning, we will visit the UNESCO protected site of Ait Ben Haddou. One of the most impressive Kasbah and well-preserved fort in Morocco. Many films were filmed here as the gladiator. Leave Ait Ben Haddou and start heading towards the majestic Atlas Mountains. We will cross the High Atlas through the highest road in Morocco pass Tizni Tichka 2260m in height offering stunning views of valleys, mountains and many nearby Berber villages. Arrive at night ..
