2 Days tour from Marrakech – Great desert experience. This two-day trip from Marrakech to Zagora is the perfect desert trip to explore the Moroccan desert. On the first day, you will visit the magnificent Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and explore nearby villages. You will then continue to Ouarzazate, where you will visit the Kasbah of Taourirt and the Atlas film studios. After lunch, you will cross the Draa Valley and its palm groves to Zagora. where you will ride a camel to see the sunset in the dunes and spend the night in a Berber camp. The next day, you return to Marraech via Oarzazate and the High Atlas.
2 Days tour from Marrakech – Great desert experience
Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Draâ valley – Zagora
We will start our 2 days tour from Marrakech at 8 in the morning towards Zagora. On the way we will pass through the Tizi-N-Tichka pass, a road that crosses the High Atlas at 2260 meters high and we will see several Berber villages.
After making a brief visit to the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou we will continue the road to Zagora. Cross the Anti Altas and we will see the Berber village of Agdz, the Draâ Valley and its palm grove, the last glimpse of vegetation before entering the desert. We will arrive in Zagora with enough time to ride a camel and enjoy the sunset in the desert.
After a traditional dinner we will spend the night in an authentic Berber tent.
Day 2: Zagora – Draâ valley – Ouarzazate – Marrakech
On this day we will have to get up early to enjoy an unforgettable event: the dawn in the desert. After sunrise and having a good breakfast, we will return to Zagora by camel to continue the excursion. Once again we will cross the Draâ Valley and Agdez to reach Ouarzazate, where we will visit the Kasbah Taourirt.
In the afternoon, we will depart for Marrakech. The food can be made in Ouarzazate or along the way, making stops until we arrive in Marrakech. By that, our 2 days tour from Marrakech ended.
