14 days From Casablanca to desert
Day 1: Casablanca
Arrival in Casablanca. Visit the Hassan II Mosque, one of the greatest religious monuments in the world. Spend time in the medina to discover the souks and Moroccan cuisine.
Day 2: Casablanca – Rabat
Departure to Rabat, the capital of Morocco. Visit the Kasbah of the Oudayas, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V and the Hassan Tower. Enjoy the beach and the marina of Rabat.
Day 3: Rabat – Meknes
Continue to Meknes It is known for its rich history and culture, as well as its impressive monuments and architecture. The Imperial City of Meknes is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and it is home to some of Morocco’s most iconic landmarks. You explore the monumental gates of Bab Mansour and Bab El Khémis, wander through the old medina and its souks, visit the mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, explore the Heri es Souani granaries. Night in a hotel.
Day 4: Meknes – Volubilus – Chefchaouen
We leave from Meknes towards the blue city passing by Volubilis, the ruins of the ancient Roman city. You will explore the medina of Chefchaouen with these beautiful alleys and colors. Night in a Riad.
Day 5: Fes
We depart for Fes and spend the day exploring the medieval city, with locale guide the visit including the Bou Inania medersa, the tanneries and the Nejjarine fountain… Night in a riad.
Day 6: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Erfoud – Merzouga
Departure to Merzouga, a city located at the gates of the Sahara.
We will visit Ifrane a beautiful town in the Middle Atlas, then we will discover the monkeys in the cedar forest. Lunch in Midelt, and continuation to Erfoud, where we will visit the fossils. From there we will join Merzouga. Camel ride to reach the luxury camp where you will spend the night. You admire the sunset. and spend a wonderful night at the Erg Chebbi dunes.
Day 7: Merzouga desert
Go on a camel safari to discover the sand dunes. We will then take our 4×4 and go to the desert nomads to discover their culture and daily life. Then we return to Khamlia village known by the music of the Gnaoua. You lunch will be a “Medfouna” Berber Pizza. We return to the camp by camel. You will see a Berber music show and dine around the campfire.
Day 8: Todra gorges – Dades gorges
Let’s continue our journey to Todgha gorges, a spectacular canyon that offers wonderful hikes and scenic views. then you will have a stop at Tinghir to discover an old village. From there we continue to Dades gorges where we will spend the night.
Day 9: Dades gorges – Kelaa Mgouna – Ouarzazate
After your breakfast we go to visit kelaa Mgouna and oasis of Skoura where you will explore the Kasabah Amridil. Then we continue to Ouarzazate, visit the Kasbah Taourirt before joining your hotel.
Day 10: Ouarzazate – Ait ben haddou
We will visit the Atlas Cinema Studios. You will enjoy the guided tour of the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Night in a kasbah in the village of Ait ben haddou.
Day 11: Ait ben haddou – Marrakech
We continue to Marrakech via the magnificent High Atlas Mountains. Relax in a Riad in the heart of the medina.
Day 12: Guided tour of Marrakech
Visit Jemaa el-Fna Square, Bahia Palace and Majorelle Gardens. Jemaa el–Fna Square: Located in the heart of Marrakech, Jemaa el–Fna Square is a bustling market square filled with street performers, food stalls, and vendors selling everything from spices to souvenirs. The square is a great place to experience the vibrant culture of Marrakech and to people watch. Bahia Palace: The Bahia Palace is a 19th century palace located in the old city of Marrakech.
The palace was built by a former grand vizier of the sultan and features intricate Islamic architecture, lush gardens, and beautiful courtyards. Majorelle Gardens: The Majorelle Gardens are a botanical garden located in Marrakech. The gardens were designed by French artist Jacques Majorelle and feature exotic plants, colorful bougainvillea, and a tranquil pond. Night in your riad.
Day 13: Essaouira
Travel to Essaouira, a quiet and charming port city.
Take your time exploring the cobbled streets, the ramparts of the medina, the beach and the fishing port. Night in a riad.
Day 14: Return to Casablanca
We transfer you to Casablanca for your departure flight.
